Types
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks including narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different types vary in terms of the way they are powered. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture operate on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used within warehouses and various other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies according to the kind. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine kinds have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
